Acadian Health, a leading provider of hospital-at-home services, recently expanded its operations in South Florida with the opening of a new base of operations in Weston. The new base, which went live with three units, supports Acadian Health’s operations in partnership with Medically Home. Acadian Health also has operations based in Jacksonville,  Vero Beach and Stuart.

Acadian Health’s hospital-at-home program provides patients with the same level of care they would receive in a hospital, but in the comfort of their own homes. The program has been shown to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs, and increase patient satisfaction.

With 19 units in its Florida operations, Acadian Health saw 700 patient admissions to the hospital-at-home program in December and January. The program is integrated with five hospitals in the region.

“We are excited to expand our operations in Florida and further support our hospital partners,” said Jeremy Coombs, Senior Director of Acadian Health. “This expansion is a testament to our commitment to providing high-quality hospital-at-home care to patients across the nation and built on strong, long-term relationships with partners.”

Overseeing the Weston location are Project Lead Ryan Nett and Operations Supervisor Carlos Samour, as well as Program Manager Joe Weber. The team has been instrumental in the successful launch of the new base of operations.
