Acadian Health is proud to announce that Senior Director Jeremy Coombs has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Home Care Medicine (AAHCM).

The AAHCM is a national organization dedicated to promoting decentralized, home-based care through education, collaboration, and advocacy for public policy initiatives that advance Home-Based Primary Care (HBPC) and Hospital at Home (H@H) programs.

With a strong commitment to bringing care to patients wherever they are, Coombs joined the board to elevate the role of Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) and Community Paramedicine (CP), recognizing that Acadian Health’s work closely aligns with both HBPC and H@H models.

“Joining the AAHCM Board is a great opportunity to learn from industry leaders and to advocate for sustainable reimbursement strategies for all forms of decentralized care, including Community Paramedicine and Mobile Integrated Health,” said Coombs.

This appointment provides new opportunities for collaboration and continued growth in home-based and community care.
